Introduction

 
We design this flotation process to recover copper, gold, silver and other valuable metals from sulfide gold ore cyanidation tailings. This technology belongs to the metallurgical chemical industry. During treatment, the system produces calcium sulfite and calcium arsenite. We remove these by-products with bag dust collectors or scrubber towers. After that, clean gas is released safely into the air. In short, this process supports eco-friendly and efficient tailings recycling for gold mining operations.
 

Detailed Process Flow

 
Our process runs at normal temperature and pressure. It features a simple, continuous workflow. Below are the core operational steps:
 
  1. Slurry Preparation

     

    First, feed cyanided sulfide gold concentrate tailings into a slurry mixing tank. Add water to set the slurry concentration at 40% to 60. Stir the mixture continuously until it is uniform. Then transfer the slurry to an acidification tank.

     
  2. Acidification Conditioning

     

    Next, add industrial sulfuric acid to adjust the slurry pH to 5. Keep stirring the slurry for 15 to 25 minutes. Maintain a stable pH value of 5 during the whole reaction. Once acidification finishes, send the slurry back to the mixing tank.

     
  3. Secondary Slurry Adjustment

     

    Then, add water to recondition the slurry. Set the concentration at 20% to 30% and the pH at 6. We adopt continuous feeding and discharging for stable production. After adjustment, deliver the slurry to a stirring tank.

     
  4. Reagent Dosing & Mixing

     

    Meanwhile, stir the slurry constantly in the tank. Add specialized flotation reagents evenly and continuously. Also, add No.2 oil frother to the mixture. This step ensures full mixing of slurry and chemicals.

     
  5. Closed-Circuit Flotation Enrichment

     

    Finally, pump the treated slurry into flotation cells. We perform closed-circuit flotation for metal separation. The process includes one roughing stage, two closed-circuit scavenging stages and two closed-circuit cleaning stages. As a result, we efficiently enrich copper, gold and silver from the tailings.
