Solution to arsenic in gold mines
Currently, there are three methods for extracting gold from arsenic-containing gold mines:
1. Pressure leaching method, which is generally divided into alkaline leaching under normal pressure and high-temperature pressure acid leaching:
(1) Normal pressure alkaline leaching uses a stirring tank to treat gold ore to separate gold from arsenide, and then cyanide is carried out to achieve the purpose of gold extraction;
(2) High-temperature pressure acid leaching is also called pressure leaching method. Under the action of acidic substances, arsenide undergoes high-temperature oxidation and arsenic is oxidized into arsenate
2. Oxidative roasting method. Gold ore is roasted to decompose gold and sulfide, arsenic is oxidized and volatilized, and then cyanide is used to leach gold. It is also the most common treatment method at present.
3. Microbial arsenic removal method, using Thiobacillus ferrooxidans, Thiobacillus thiooxidans, and Leptospirillum ferrooxidans to treat arsenic, but there are many shortcomings. It has high requirements for environmental conditions, and factors such as temperature will lead to poor results.Solution to arsenic in gold mines
