This project launched in October 2019 to treat exhaust gases from the entire precious lead plant. It handles nitrogen oxides and acidic emissions from multiple processes. These include nitrate removal of gold mud impurities, aqua regia dissolution, sodium sulfite reduction, and gold and silver electrolysis.
The system treats high-concentration nitrogen oxides from nitrate removal, aqua regia, and silver dissolution using a multi-stage approach. The process includes two-stage bubble absorption, three-stage jet absorption, and SDG adsorption. The gases then pass through two-stage alkaline spray towers.
Acidic gases from sodium sulfite reduction, electrolysis, and storage tanks go directly into two-stage alkaline spray towers. The treated exhaust releases through a chimney.
All equipment has operated reliably since startup. All emission indicators meet the owner’s requirements.
