Mali 200 t/a Gold Refinery Project

Project Overview
This initiative will establish a 200 t/a gold refinery in Bamako, Mali's capital. The project will implement its total capacity through two distinct construction phases.

Implementation Phases
The development will progress in two stages. Phase I will deliver 100 t/a of refining capacity within 18 months. Following this, Phase II will add another 100 t/a over a 12-month construction period.

Financial Planning
Phase I requires a total investment of 121.4846 million yuan. This budget allocates 82.3832 million yuan to engineering costs, while other expenses account for 10.2339 million yuan. The plan also includes 11.1140 million yuan for contingency fees, 3.4432 million yuan for loan interest, and 14.3102 million yuan for working capital. We anticipate that Phase I will generate an annual net profit of 36.1708 million yuan.

Strategic Framework
The Malian government will consolidate domestic gold doré resources to support this project. It has designated the state-owned Mali Gold Refining Company Ltd. to operate the new refinery and will provide corresponding policy incentives. Additionally, the government will prioritize allocating domestic gold mining resources to this company.

Industry Consolidation
Looking forward, Mali will strictly control gold refining project approvals and generally will not authorize new competitors. This policy enables Mali Gold Refining Company Ltd. to unify the national gold brand and develop comprehensive capabilities across smelting, refining, and processing.

Long-term Vision
This integrated enterprise will create industrial clustering effects and serve as the core link in Mali's gold industry chain. The project will significantly advance the country's gold production technology and help establish gold as a characteristic pillar industry, thereby contributing substantially to national socioeconomic development.
